Sue Baer now teaching with Island Strings


Susan Baer is a freelance violinist and violin teacher residing in Greenbank, WA. In her four decades of experience with the Suzuki method, Susan has run a thriving private studio, co-founded a Suzuki school, organized workshops, taught in a long-term training program, and served on the board of directors of her local foundation. Susan is in high demand as a Suzuki clinician and registered Suzuki Association of the Americas violin teacher trainer. She has served as area coordinator for six SAA conferences, has been published in the SAA journal, and has served two terms on the SAA Board of Directors. Dr. Baer holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree, a Master of Music degree in violin performance, and a PhD in Fine Arts.×960/avatars/1450-20140627194007.jpg







  1. Sue Baer teaches Island Strings group lessons, once a month, the violins,
    violas and cellos. Linda Good teaches the pre-twinkle group and the
    guitar, keyboard, ukelele students. 2016 summer performances include
    SW Acoustic Music Festival at TW Tilth on Sunday June 26 at 11 am, the Maxwelton 4th of July parade, the SW State Park Festival on July 23 at 11 am
    and the Greenbank Loganberry Farm (Early September). We’ll play again at
    Children’s Day on September 24.
    Linda Good will be teaching at SW Parks and Rec for Music Camp from June 27-30.
