Laurie Hungerford Flint, soprano and Rodney Menn, piano, will present a
celebration of the poetry of song with compositions for voice and piano by
composers Debussy, Faure, Poulenc, Laitman and Walker. The poetry is by de
Vilmorin, Verlaine, cummings, Dickinson, Browning and Rumi.
A brief pre-concert lecture about the songs by Eileen Soskin, well-known
Whidbey Island resident, speaker and performer, will open the concert.
Tickets are $20 ($10 for students) and are available at Moonraker
Books (Langley), Habitat for Humanity (Freeland), by e-mail at

Eileen Soskin will present a free 90-minute lecture on the pieces that
will be performed at the 22 and 23 February concerts.
Feb 22 (Fri) & 23 (Sat) – Same program both evenings
Concert – The Time Traveling Trio, 7:30pm at UUCWI, Eileen Soskin
(piano), Gloria Ferry-Brennan (violin), and James Hinkley (cello).
Tickets are $20 ($10 for students) and will be sold after services on
2/3, 2/10 and 2/17, or at Moonraker Books in Langley, Habitat for
Humanity in Freeland. You can also make a reservation by

available – if you want to attend, we want you in the audience.
